Dumplings in broth

Ingredients for 4 persons:
150 g of stale bread
40 g of onions
1 C butter
80 g of bacon
2 eggs
2 C flour
100 ml of milk
1 C of parsley or chives, finely chopped
1 C of finely chopped chives

Cut the bread into cubes. Take the onion, cut into cubes and brown in butter. Blend it with the bread and form a homogeneous mixture. Mix flour and bacon. Apart mix the eggs, milk, parsley and salt. Incorporate all the dough bread. Let rest for about mass 15 minutes. Deriving dumplings and cook them in salted water leaving the lid slightly moved. Serve the dumplings in a beef broth and sprinkle with a pinch of chives.

Cooking time: 20 minutes
