Walter, son of Mariangelo Ploner and owner of the hotel, was the Italian motocross champion and won the Italian and European snowmobile championships several times.

Claudio, Walter’s son and brother to Roland, won the Italian snowmobile championships a number of times.

Alexander won the world hang gliding championships four times and the Italian snowmobile championships several times.

Roland, husband to Katherina, has won the Italian snowmobile championships numerous times. He is extremely passionate about cycling and mountain biking and is an experienced skier—having participated in many national and international competitions—who is also a skilled instructor of skiing. He has participated in a number of different national and international cycling races with good results and high rankings.
